〔しないわけにはいかない〕 (余儀なく) have to do; must do; have no choice but to do; be forced [compelled] to do; (するまいとしても) cannot help doing; have no choice but to do; 《文》 cannot (help) but do.

●彼が都合が悪いなら, 私が行かざるを得ないでしょう. If it's inconvenient for him, then I suppose I'll have to go. <▲> I'll に強勢を置く.

・かけに負けて, 私は丸坊主にならざるを得ないはめに陥った. Since I lost the bet, I ended up having to have my head shaved.
